A Message to “The Wealthy”-

The amount of Monies spent annually (which is so staggering and overwhelming and to many “a gross-mis-allocation of monies far better spent elsewhere”) on efforts to essentially gain “access” and/or “influence” to Our Nations Most Trusted & Highly Regarded “Guardians” of The American “Way” of Life is positively mind-boggling!  This Multi-Billion Dollar Practice by some of this Nation’s Wealthiest and “Powerful” Men & Women whose interest often considered “self preserving” is one which I ["a rogue and humble pragmatist & human spirited and inspired  person by the acts and actions including Human Ambition and Perseverance on ALL Fronts & from People of ALL Walks of Life; that spirit is one that truly touches and motivates me to be the very best Human Being that I can be and that I proclaim [freely] that I am in fact duty bound in being a Proud American and this Nations Founding Fathers Vision based on the Constitutional Pledges and My attempt to please and glorify My King & GOD makes these dubious practices not only foreign but beyond my scope of comprehension.]

It seems to [me], and again I disclose that I am neither a licensed Financial Planner, Registered Stock Broker, nor Officer and or Licensee of Any Accredited Group or Charter that Engages in the Practice of Financial Strategies & Practices with the mission of seeking and securing the “highest” return on ‘its” investment (s).  With that said, one would think that the Wealthy in this Nation and any other Nation for that matter would and could benefit as well as reach insurmountable crescendos and milestones (again unfathomable to most) a far higher and more lucrative return on their investments in other areas of Free Enterprise & Capitalism.  Perhaps,  if the Nations [albeit World's] Wealthiest Elite spent more money on Community Developments, Philanthropy, Compassionate Projects that Effectively Aid People , NOT with a “hand-out” but instead a “hand-up”, that “those” people would be far better served by effectively empowering its sphere to not only grow in self value and worth spiritually & financially but would in return “repay” that gracious selfless gesture with product/service loyalty unlike any seen or experienced (which of course translates to the proverbial improvement of the Benefactors bottom line).

How about investing in the young, bright and eager minds of American Youth with disadvantages and obstacles that despite one’s resolve. the “path” and “access” to education and knowledge is laden with “loop holes” and detours and a chambered like row of disenfranchising “gates” [prerequisites & requirements including costs and expenses] that leaves these “diamonds in the rough” with very limited choices and ultimately fall “prey” to “influences” that become more and more lucrative given the alternatives and tough decisions they are already faced with at such a young and impressionable age.  Education is an investment YOU no doubt are already familiar with as you more than likely have Children/Heirs that you have personally provided for and made available to certain advantages and benefits that again most in this World can only dream of.  For this I pause to say “God Bless You” and has indeed [has] blessed you with so much in that the breadth and scope of your wealth has afforded you many privileges and “access” to many wonderful and beautiful things.  “We” (Christians and Devout Believers) will pray that YOU all continue to be blessed by our Majestic and Generous King who indeed made some very significant sacrifices for those he loved too!  But, I digress…

The “cause & effect” that the reverent lobbying has on Our Nation and the Leaders and Trusted Guardians is liken to a fabric made of elastic material; that when tugged on and snapped back repeatedly;  eventually erodes the fibers within the fabric itself  thus leaving it so frayed, so tattered and so weak;  that it can no longer support what it was designed to do originally by its Creator.  Money is a catalyst (in this Country for certain) to many things that can produce so much beauty and wealth and YES do so much good in even modest amounts.  Money also has a direct effect and reach upon millions and millions of people.

I shall attempt with humility, grace, poise and respect when sharing the following statement (and PLEASE know that what I am about to say is in fact painfully obvious to at least two-thirds of the World’s Population) without offense nor damnation to ANY of this posts readers:

In that I mean to address the top 10% of Wealth Holders whose wealth and fortune is or was either acquired and/or obtained [and obtainable] in ANY of the following forms listed below and not listed below:

• Inheritance
• Gold/Precious Metals / Rare Precious Gems
• Assets
• Real property
• Chattel
• Appurtenances
• Investment instruments (in all forms)
• Insurance (issuer & benefited from)
• Portfolios
• Performance Contracts (in all forms including torts and sub-clauses & concession leading to personal financial gain)
• Influences & Interests (in ALL forms and ways that again lead and give “direct benefit” to its proprietor/owner of record
• Lottery
• Charity
• And Any and ALL other Means of Acquiring “Wealth”

I wish to impart some very fundamental, and extremely basic principles that often eludes and escapes the attention of many (from within Elite Circles to the Collective Masses).  A simple principle that dates back thousands and thousands of years.  That principle is this “Do Unto Others, As You Would Have Done To You”.   So rudimentary, so painfully obvious, yet again it eludes so and escapes our conscience by so many of “Us”.  The second passage I wish to share with My readers is a phrase titled:

Now, I want to pause for a moment and state again for the record that ALL I am sharing here is “My” Opinion and not meant to be Sanctimonious, Nor Judgmental, Nor Condescending, Placating, Patronizing, nor even elicit Offense.  As a fellow human myself (with limited and humble means) I have only My Voice to effectively share and communicate My thoughts , perspectives and Personal Beliefs to this World.

My message (or “tip” as it were) will hopefully speak directly to the motive and personal goals as it relates to wealth building and asset acquisition &  growth as well as fostering and managing that wealth to effectively expand upon it and I respectfully direct this message (present company included) to ALL Who Seek It, is simply this:

The saying was a response to a young rich man who had asked Jesus what he needed to do in order to inherit eternal life. Jesus replied that he should keep the commandments, to which the man stated he had done. Jesus responded, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. I don’t know…maybe yes, maybe no. Still I can’t help but share the following information:

• The CBO has released their unbiased report regarding the actual cost and benefit of the Health Reform Bill … $134bn in Deficit REDUCTION in the first 10 years and possibly One Trillion in 20 years!
• A great deal of compromise and concessions were made (for political reasons only and not proven for the benefit of the American Public, and still there is a blatant and incredibly confusing resistance from certain Party Members spreading rhetoric and flat out lies?
• Statements by Party Members have been made on Television that “This Bill Does NOT Benefit America”. ..Then whom does the non-passage and eventual delay and demise of this legislation really and truly benefit?

Just on the horizon is a season of change unlike anything we’ve seen since the days of Franklin D Roosevelt (remember what he did for America?) I say to My Fellow Americans, PLEASE hang in there… Our day is coming, America is returning to the GREAT, RESPECTABLE,  & HONORABLE Country that Our Forefathers envisioned, forged and paved the way for 236 Years ago.

Although the current administration has made strides in creating programs and funding to help homeowners with loan modifications and homeowner retention status.  The fact remains that the Government can only do so much.  It’s more a question of bandwidth and not lack of sincere desire to assist Americans with this looming crisis.

It’s time for Americans to take matters into our own hands.  There are a many non-profit and for profit groups out there ready, willing and very able to help out.  I quote John F. Kennedy from his inauguration speech: “Ask not what your Country can do for you… But what you can do for your Country”.  Poignant, simple and a real call to action.  If you are genuinely concerned about the state of America’s Financial position and the ramifications and concerns revolving around this crisis.  Then its time to “Do it for Yourself!’

There are over 10 Million American Families or 14.3% of ALL Owner Occupied Homes on the verge or presently in an active default status in the United States (Figures based on 2000 US Census Bureau predicated on total number of owner-occupied homes).  These numbers are staggering, that equates to 1 out of every 8 Families facing the real risk of losing their homes!

Loan Modifications is a viable mutually beneficial plan for both Lender and Borrower.  For the borrower/homeowner, it allows the Family to manage through the crisis with a real benefit at the end of the proverbial tunnel.  A paid off asset which can be passed on as legacy or utilized for income streams during pensioner phase of life.  The Institutional Lender benefits too!  By working with their borrowers they can actually improve their revenue streams and capitalize further by lending out that cash to other borrowers without the need for Government bail-outs.  This ridiculously simple concept eludes many for one reason or another.  But the simple fact remains is it DOES WORK!

Let’s for a minute calculate just the number of Holiday Inn Express’s in the World.  There are 1338 (according to HIE’s Wiki).  Bare in mind this is a very small sample size as we know in the U.S. alone there far more hotels, motels, inn’s, even youth hostels.  Those two boxes from the HIE in Washington represent approximately 65 individual units each.  So let’s do some math shall we?

1338 X 130 = 173,940 (individual charger units and hardware left behind)

If each charger’s replacement value was (on the very low end) equal to: $35.00 ( based on personal experience with actual replacement cost):

173,940 X $35.00 = $6, 087, 900

Nuff said?  “It’s cheaper to keep her” and will ultimately help our planet too! (you may need to think on that one a bit)
